Kannauj is Sawai’s traditional distillation centre, specialising in steam and hydro distillation of floral and spice-based raw materials. The facility focuses on attars, shamama, and delicate naturals requiring controlled pressure, moisture, and temperature. Hydro distillation enables gentle extraction, with oils separated through natural decantation to preserve purity and olfactive integrity.
Silvassa is Sawai’s primary industrial processing facility, designed for high-volume refinement and manufacturing. It supports fractional distillation of essential oils and aroma materials, with a focus on woody, balsamic, and resinous inputs. Equipped with controlled heating, precision separation columns, and automated reflux systems, the facility enables high-purity isolates and consistent aroma profiles at scale.
Surat is Sawai’s fragrance development and compounding centre, where extracted materials are transformed into production-ready fragrance oils. The facility oversees blending, batch standardisation, and scale-up, ensuring formulation integrity and consistent quality from development through manufacturing.
Nilakkottai is home to our advanced solvent and Supercritical CO₂ extraction systems, developed for delicate and high-value botanicals.The facility processes materials such as nagarmotha, vetiver, geranium, palmarosa, and other aromatic botanicals. SCFE enables extraction under carefully controlled temperature and pressure, preserving clean aromatic profiles, purity, and stability. The Hi-Flo Series systems allow precise control across different plant materials, ensuring flexibility without compromising consistency.
